The new BMW ALPINA XD3 follows in the footsteps of its popular predecessor. No other model offers such a unique blend of qualities, ranging from everyday utility and a commandeering seating position to unparalleled driving comfort and impressively dynamic handling – all packaged in a modern and contemporary design. Combined with a cutting-edge diesel drivetrain which offers best-in-class driving performance and which features the latest in exhaust gas treatment technology means the new BMW ALPINA XD3 is the perfect everyday companions for every lifestyle.

Building upon the basis of the new BMW 3.0 litre straight-six engine with bi-turbocharging and common-rail high-pressure direct injection, the drivetrain delivers a power output of 245 kW (333 hp) and 700 Nm of torque over a broad rpm range. The combination of powerful drivetrain, all-wheel drive with fully variable torque distribution and sports suspension with electronically adjustable dampers means the new BMW ALPINA XD3 offers superior handling and dynamics without compromising ride comfort.

The new BMW ALPINA XD3 is back by popular demand. With a modern design and pleasing aesthetics this powerful SUV offers a convincing blend of high performance, everyday utility and exemplary ride comfort. The new 3.0 litre straight-six engine with bi-turbocharging accelerates the new BMW ALPINA XD3 from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. A jet-like propulsion aided by 700 Nm of torque ends in a top speed of 254 km/h. Advanced diesel engine technology coupled with the latest in exhaust gas treatment technology ensures that consumption and emissions are reduced to a minimum. Fuel consumption measured according to ECE norm 6.9 l/100 km and 183 g/km CO2.

In combination with ALPINA CLASSIC 22“ forged wheels reduced top speed by approximately 5 km/h.

The ALPINA sport suspension ensures that the new BMW ALPINA XD3 satisfies the highest demands regarding comfort, everyday utility and performance. Electronically adjustable dampers allow the driver to choose from a number of settings ranging from Comfort+ to Sport+ to suit all needs. Lightweight ALPINA CLASSIC 20” wheels and a performance oriented all-wheel drive system with ALPINA specific torque distribution means the latest SUV’s from ALPINA exhibit sharp, precise and neutral handling at all times. Additionally an active rear limited slip differential comes as standard for even more traction and agility during cornering or when driving on rapidly changing surfaces.

Unmistakeable ALPINA

The design of an automobile from ALPINA skillfully combines the BMW design language with distinct and yet evolutionary ALPINA elements. In total the appearance of a BMW ALPINA is a reflection of its inner values: powerful, dynamic, confident but never intrusive.

Almost limitless creativity: Alongside a large selection of colours and materials from BMW and BMW Individual, the ALPINA manufactory offers a wide range of personalisation options.

World Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP)

From September 2017 onwards, the WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure) will gradually replace the current NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) as the test procedure for measuring motor vehicle fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. From September 2018 all motor vehicles will be certified and measured according to WLTP. Due to a significantly more dynamic driving cycle, the WLTP more realistically reflects real driving behaviour than the NEDC. Despite there being no change in a vehicle’s real fuel consumption, the new WLTP and its associated driving cycle will result in higher fuel consumption and CO2 emissions values being measured.

Information on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions according to the applicable EU Directive VO (EU) 715/2007.

Fuel consumption, combined:6,4 l/100km
CO2 emissions combined:173 g/km
CO2 efficiency category:

The disclosed fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are measured according to WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicles Test Procedure) and converted to NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) for comparison purposes. Depending on your country, vehicle related taxes or other duties may be based on fuel consumption and CO2 emissions data which differs from that shown here.

Further information on specific fuel consumption and specific CO2 emissions of new passenger cars is given in „Leitfaden über den Kraftstoffverbrauch, die CO2-Emissionen und den Stromverbrauch neuer Personenkraftwagen” which can be obtained free of charge at all points of sale and from the Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT), Helmut-Hirth-Str. 1, 73760 Ostfildern-Scharnhausen.
